Picking Your Canvas Thickness

The first decision you need to make when making a custom canvas print is the wrap thickness. The options are for a full 1.5 inch wrap, a smaller .75 inch wrap, a cafe wrap which is canvas wrapped around a foam board, and no wrap where the image is just printed on canvas. The next step is to select your canvas size.

Coat Your Canvas

After uploading your image and selecting the wrap type and size, you will want to select a canvas coating. The options are matte or gloss. We recommend gloss coating unless the canvas will be displayed under direct light - in that case we recommend matte. This is similar to making custom posters where the options are matte and gloss.

After you have selected all your options, you will have the ability to customize your canvas print. Here you can add more images to make a collage or add text in a variety of fonts and colors.

Sell Your Work

You can also create a store at OpenPrints to sell artwork online. There is no cost to setting up your store.
